Stepisol® - sound absorbing underlay for modern floors
Stepisol® is a proven effective acoustic underlay used to reduce impact and structure-borne noise in buildings where the sound environment is particularly important. The product is installed under the floor structure and helps to keep sound in its intended space, rather than spreading between floors. The solution is particularly suitable for buildings where comfort, functionality and sound class requirements are high.
Stepisol is supplied in the form of discs and skirting boards and is available in several thicknesses and densities to adapt to different environments and loads. The material is made of flexible urethane cellular plastic (PUR) and consists of approximately 90 % of granulated recycled foam plastic, which makes the product both resource-efficient and recyclable. Stepisol is building product declared, registered in the BASTA register and EPD-declared, which provides verified information on the environmental impact of the product throughout its life cycle.
The product is used in everything from homes, hotels and attics to gyms, engine rooms and other environments where effective soundproofing is required. Stepisol is water resistant, can be walked on immediately after installation and works with all types of underfloor heating. With the right design, Stepisol can help fulfil sound class A-C according to current standards.
Stepisol is the result of long experience and development work in soundproofing materials and has been used successfully in construction projects since the 1980s. It is a proven solution for those who want to create a better sound environment without compromising on durability or function.
