Our history

Emballageteknik was founded in 1984 by Göran Forsmark, Lars Roll and Håkan Forsmark. Anders Pontén joined the company in 1988. Over time, production needs grew and the company acquired Skumplastfabriken AB in 1988. This was the first of many acquisitions over the years. The fact that Emballageteknik has grown over the years, including through the acquisition of production companies in various packaging areas, has enabled the company to build up a solid knowledge bank.

Our business concept

To be a stable partner and offer customers a cost-effective total packaging solution that minimises their carbon footprint. The company works with a wide range of solutions, both in terms of materials and construction.

We are your partner

Emballageteknik's strength is that the company is not material-bound, as we have our own production in all product areas such as cellular plastic, corrugated board and wood. We are involved from the beginning of a project, as a partner and develop the packaging product in consultation with the customer.

We stand on several legs

Emballageteknik currently has production in Sweden, Estonia and Latvia. In addition to sales in these countries, the company's largest markets are Denmark, Norway, Lithuania and Finland. The packaging industry is very cyclical, but thanks to its breadth and flexibility, Emballageteknik has been able to maintain steady growth while gaining market share. In addition to packaging, Emballageteknik manufactures hygiene products, industrial components, seals, gaskets, washcloths and sound insulation.
