Starkwell - high strength and durability without high weight
Starkwell is made from wet-strength kraft paper and waterproof adhesive, giving the material an impressive strength-to-weight ratio. The structures can withstand stacking weights of over 1000-1200 kg and works equally well for domestic transport as for international sea and air freight.
Despite its strength, starkwell weighs significantly less than equivalent solutions made of wood or plywood, resulting in easier handling and lower transport costs.
For extra durability, the outer layers can be waxed to resist moisture and dirt.
Coffin solutions - flexible, strong and easy to pack
One of the major benefits of starkwell is the ability to build coffin constructions which provides stable protection and effective sealing.
Examples of solutions:
- 3-sided coats which is easily placed on a base plate
- Double frame construction closed around the goods
- Coffin with loading hatch, designed to facilitate packing for heavy or bulky products
The frames provide a stable box that can be strapped and stacked safely, while minimising material consumption.
